Description
Sam's Love is a non-profit organization that supplies baby books to families walking through stillbirth and/or pregnancy loss at no cost. We are hosting our 3rd 5K in honor of our son who was born sleeping on January 27th, 2021. Samuel Beckett Honaker lived a brief but rich life where he only knew love and warmth. We hope to raise funds to continue to provide the 25+ organizations with our Sam's Love books nationwide by using the funds from this 5K to order more books.
The race will be Saturday January 24th, 2026 at Forsythe Park in Monroe LA. The race will include the option of a one mile fun run or the standard 5K. All funds raised from this race will go directly toward furthering our mission at Sam's Love. Our mission is to improve bereavement care by providing our books to families/friends as a place to remember, celebrate and share with others their precious child.
We are an official Louisiana 501C3 non-profit.
