Description
We are so excited for our 2nd annual Glow Run at A.C. Steere. This year's run is sure to bring you back in time with an 80's theme! Wear your Glow Run shirt and throw on your 80's style gear to set your feet running through the Broadmoor neighborhood 5k course, beginning and ending at A.C. Steere School at 5:30. All students, parents, and the community are welcome to join in the fun running or walking through the beautiful course. If a 5k is not what you are looking for, join us at A.C. Steere Park to light up the track at 7:30 for a One Mile Fun Glow Run/Walk. You do not want to miss the the after party!!! We will have music, food trucks, face painting, lots of activities for all the kids and a Glow tent station to get ready for the run. All proceeds will benefit Pre-K Though 5th grade students by equipping classrooms with technology, STEM kits, and improving our playground with new equipment for kids to enjoy!
**This year we are dedicating our run to one of our Bravest Kindergarten students, Braylee Davis. Braylee was involved in an accident over spring break and is on her journey to recovery at Oschner Health/University Hospital here in Shreveport. Come join us and run in honor of Braylee as well as supporting your neighborhood school through a fun filled night!!
