Eden Gardens Magnet Run Team

WE ARE SO EXCITED to announce the  FIRST EVER Eden Gardens Magnet RUN TEAM. 

EGM Run Team is open to grades 2-5.

Starting September 15, 2022.

Our Run team will focus on developing proper running techniques, build speed and endurance while promoting sportsmanship, team spirit and a healthy lifestyle. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to run with their students!! Practice will be held on Thursday’s immediately following school 3:30-4:30.

Students MUST be picked up AT 4:30.

Practices will continue throughout the school year, weather permitting and breaking for the holidays and harsh winter months. Each team member will receive a TEAM shirt that will be worn at KOTR and other run events. Runners will work towards prizes with completion on laps and sportsmanship. 

We are so excited to build our team of strong athletes! 

Requirements for the team. 

-enrollment in KOTR  - https://runsignup.com/Race/LA/Shreveport/KidsontheRun

-parent/guardian volunteering at at least one practice or event for the year.

-positive attitude, willingness to work with others and take direction from leaders.
