Open Water Swim Meetup

Join us for one more open water swim meetup! This event is hosted by SHEcoast Multisport, and is for registered members only

Looking for more swim buddies? Join our swim meetup to meet other local open water swimmers on the team. We all know that open water swimming should be done with at least one buddy. So come out and meet other swimmers to find some friends, exchange contact info and make plans to meet up to swim! Already have swim buddies? Come meet some more friends to add to your group, or come for the group open water swim experience with the additional safety of lifeguards on the water.

Please note, this event is NOT a swim clinic. While there will be lifeguards on paddleboards, our primary goal is helping to keep the swimmers safe and helping to connect the swim community, so there will not be a clinic portion at this event.

Location: Lake Gardner
80 High Street, Amesbury, MA
7-7:15 am: Arrive
7:15 am: Intros and warmup
7:30-8:30 am: Get in the water - groups will be split into distance/duration and pacing preference for the swim
8:30 am - all swimmers out of the water 
~9 am: Optional coffee meetup at Market Square Bakehouse
While we do have guards at the meetup, each swimmer is responsible for their own safety and we will utilize the buddy system and checkin points.

Cancellation/Refund policies
Hosts reserve the right to postpone, reschedule, alter, cancel or eliminate any portion of the meetup any time in the interest of athlete safety, low registrations, or for other reasons beyond our control. 

Due to the up front costs of insurance and park usage fees, we will not be able to provide refunds if participant is unable to make it. In the event this meetup is cancelled by hosts due to inclement weather, low registration or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to reschedule the event, or provide a partial refund. In the event that you are not able to make the meetup due to illness, change of plans or unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to provide any refund.
