Join us for our 3rd Annual Joe's Journey for Recovery Cornhole Tournament & 5k Run/Walk VIRTUAL event
Due to ongoing public health concerns related to COVID-19, we are converting our 3rd Annual Joe's Journey for Recovery Cornhole Tournament & 5k Run/Walk to a "Virtual" event to keep all of our racers, volunteers and attendees safe!
You can complete the 5K Run/Walk and play Cornhole anytime and anywhere between the dates of September 5th-13th! Post your run, walk or cornhole fun on Joe's Journey for Recovery Facebook page so we can see how you did. We love seeing photos of everyone sporting their Joe's Journey gear. All registrants that pre-register by August 1, 2020 will receive a Joe's Journey 2020 shirt. Since we will not be posting times or doing awards for this event, everyone is a winner! Donations are welcome and always appreciated to support Joe's Journey & community outreach.
Our goal is to preserve our annual tradition of bringing the community together to honor those we have lost, to bring awareness to substance abuse and to move forward in support of wellness in recovery.
Proceeds will be to benefit community outreach and organizations in memory of Joseph A Duval. Joe was an amazing brother, son, grandson, uncle, and friend. He sadly lost his battle with addiction in 2018. In remembrance of Joe, all of those who have lost their battle and those that continue to fight, we educate today's youth and the community about substance use disorder, physical wellness and join in the fight to end the stigma that follows addiction. Addiction doesn't discriminate. "Our Journey Starts Here."
Thank you to all of our sponsors, participants, attendees and volunteers for supporting our event every year. We couldn't do it without all of you!
