The Bolton 5K Virtual FUNdRUN 2020

The 2nd annual Bolton 5K FUNdRUN will be held virtually over Columbus Day Weekend from October 10-12!  Please join our community and walk, run, skip or cartwheel your own 5K, then post your pics and shout out your times so we can recognize the winners (details on posting coming soon). Registration is just $15 and the first 100 registrants will receive a $5 gift card to the Bolton Bean for free, so REGISTER TODAY!

In addition to having fun “coming together apart” as a community, your registration/donation will enable the Bolton Community Fund to keep on meeting the needs of our neighbors. If you aren't able to join the 5K, please consider donating for this good cause.

Here’s just a taste of the impact your support in 2019 made to our community:

• 18 families who had work interruptions due to COVID or other tragedy received grants totalling $18,500
• Florence Sawyer received a $700 grant for equipment needed by students with special needs
• The Bolton Fire Department received a $1500 grant to purchase and install fire detectors for seniors
• WHEAT Community Connections in Clinton received a $3300 grant to pay for lunches for families and seniors in subsidized housing
• At the height of COVID chaos in March, BCF sponsored a dinner for WHEAT patrons in Clinton, prepared by the Sunshine Cafe for $300
• The Willard House requested help for a single Mom who was moving out of the shelter into her very first apartment with nothing. We paid for $500 of basic household goods
• Created and distributed Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to Seniors
