Description
Embrace the Suck 5K and 5M is the race of 2021. The race includes distances of either 5K or 5Miles and an option of a Burden Run. The Burden Run is either an individual or team event where you will run either of the distances with a 20lbs sandbag. The sandbag can be passed between team members but cannot be carried by commercial means (IE: Backpack or Ruck)
Burden Run
The Burden Run is a challenging event within the Embrace the Suck event. The Burden Run is optional and Participants that register for the Burden will compete in either the 5k or the 5 Mile distance with a 20 pound sandbag. Participants can either complete the Burden Run as and individual or as a team. Teams can pass the sandbag off as they determine best for their team, however, the only way a sandbag can be carried is non-commercial means (IE: no bags or rucks utilized to carry the burden)

Parking
Parking for this event is limited and will be in designated spots only. Parking will fill up quickly and participants are encouraged to car-pool.
