Somerville 5K Road Race

Dust off your running shoes because our 28th Annual Somerville 5K Road Race returns September 30th! Join us as we get ready to run, walk, and stroll through the heart of Davis Square to raise support and awareness for our most vulnerable neighbors. Last year over 460 friends, family, and supporters turned out and took to the streets to help end homelessness, hunger, and eviction. 

RACE DAY: 

Start: 9:00AM (rain or shine) - race starts on the hour!

Entry Fee: $35, $30 for kids (Day of: $40, $35 for kids) 

Registration & Check-In: On race day 7:30AM - 8:30AM

Registration, start, finish and awards ceremony take place behind the old Rite Aid at the end of the Bike Path near Highland Avenue and Grove Street in Davis Square.  

Course: Urban, varied terrain, arrows at all turns, mile markers, 5K (3.1 miles). Click here to view the course map!

Results: Professional, computerized CHIP TIMING and results by Spitler Race Systems. 

T-Shirts: Free t-shirts for those registered by 9/8 (a small amount of t-shirts may be available for purchase on race day). 

**Please note that t-shirts are PICK-UP ONLY, unless otherwise communicated by an SHC staff member. We cannot mail or deliver t-shirts.

INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISERS: T-shirt and free registration if you raise $250+ by race weekend!
FUNDRAISING TEAMS: T-shirt and free registration if your TEAM (max. 5) raise $500+ by race weekend.
