Description
On November 6th, Save Chebacco Trails and Watershed will host Trailblazers for Chebacco Conservation, a
day of celebration in Chebacco Woods, the woods we love dearly and which are adjacent to the parcel proposed
for development We’ll have a 5k fun run, mountain biking courses, guided walks, activities for kids, face-
painting, and more! Dogs are welcome (ON LEASH PLEASE) and we even have special bandanas for them to
support their favorite place for walks. Our team is working closely with our local sponsors to involve them in
our efforts: they'll be contributing to a raffle and taking a stand for conservation, small business, and
community.
We at Save Chebacco Trails and Watershed have been working hard with all of you to save this exquisite 66
acre area of woods, wetlands, and farmland from development. It has meant long hours of spreading the word,
arduous meetings, and learning a lot more about the development process than we ever thought we'd need to
know. Now we'd like to remind ourselves WHY we're doing this and WHY we're working so hard, and that's
why we are delighted to invite our community and beyond to join us in the woods for a day of play!
Let's come together and have some fun in the woods! Register today!
This is the last remaining unprotected, undeveloped parcel of this scale in Hamilton and must be protected. Can you support our efforts to protect this parcel from development and to enable a conservation alternative?
