Families for Depression Awareness (FFDA) invites YOU to take part in our 2021 Strides Against Stigma Virtual 5K event! Beginning on November 1 and ending on November 30, you can walk, run, roll, or do whatever it takes to complete our 5K challenge in the location you choose. 5 kilometers...that's just 3.1 miles! You can walk/run the 5K on your own or create a team of family, friends, classmates, or coworkers.
Show your dedication to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health by raising money to support FFDA's programs for teens and families. You will help people like:
Chloe, the Massachusetts high school student who struggled privately with depression, but after hearing our peer-to-peer Teen Speaker volunteers committed to go to therapy again.
Brian, a caregiver from North Carolina who attended one of our webinars and incorporated what he learned in his family's wellness plan.
Sherry, a woman from Virginia who read our caregiver handbook cover-to-cover to understand how to support her father through his debilitating depressive episodes.
Registration is only $25*. If you register by October 15, you will receive your race shirt by November 1st!
