Description
A new cross-country 5K run/walk and kids fun run on the beautiful equestrian fields of Loch Moy Farm above the Monocacy River. Music, awards, finisher awards, and copious refreshments for all.
The rolling, challenging 5K course will take you through the picturesque Loch Moy Farm used for over 40 equestrian competitions each year. Runners will be led out by a rider on horseback over grass before heading into wooded trails* along the Monocacy River. After emerging from the woods, runners will run along a grass field while enjoying views of Sugarloaf Mountain and riders taking their horses over cross country jumps. The course continues crossing a short stretch (ten feet) on a gravel and paved driveway before heading on a wooded trail back to the grassy finish area. This course is spike friendly.
*Please note that some sections of the wooded trails will be single track.
Strollers and wheeled devices are not allowed. Well-behaved, leashed dogs will be permitted on the course.
The 1K fun run course and stick horse race will be held entirely on grass. These races will not be timed.
We're at 1235 Park Mills Rd, Adamstown, MD 21710. Ample on site-parking.

- Parking, bib pick-up for 5K and 1K -- 7:30 am. Late registration will be accepted on race day. Credit cards will be accepted for online raceday registrations, please bring exact change for any cash registration
- 5K start -- 8:30 am
- 1K Fun Run start -- 8:45 am
- 5K awards -- 10:00 am
- Stick horse race -- 10:30 am (Kids age 9 and under.)
