Let's Spring into Motion and enjoy this beautiful sunshine with CWA 65's Mileage Challenge 2.0. This new and improved challenge has: a longer timeframe, Command milestones, additional incentives, AND SEVERAL EXERCISE OPTIONS FOR SUBMISSION!
This Challenge runs from April 1st to May 31st. We have mileage goals to reach as a Command! Our first goal is 6500 miles by our All Hands, and this goal has a special incentive, stay tuned. In addition to these Command goals, the first Department to collectively reach 3,500mi will earn 24hr Speclib, and at the conclusion of the challenge, the top performers from each department will also be awarded 24hr Speclib!
And we heard your suggestions and are happy to share the below conversions for mile submissions:
- Moderate Activity - 25min = 1mi, this includes yoga, weightlifting, kayaking, etc.
- Vigorous Activity - 10min = 1mi, this includes HIIT, swimming, rowing, kickboxing, etc.
- Bike - 3:1 mile ratio
- Run/walk - 1:1 mile ratio
As before, when submitting miles please include a brief description of your workout, this will be even more important now with all of the conversions.
