What is Archbishop Borders School? 

Archbishop Borders School is a dual-language Catholic community school that prepares its students to be dynamic members of society through an educational experience informed by diversity, faith, and academic excellence.  Located in Canton in Baltimore City, ABS educates a diverse body of students from over 25 zip codes representing many ethnicities and cultures!

Archbishop Borders is excited to bring you its annual fundraising event, the Heart y Sol 5K!

PLACE
Run Anywhere You Would Like . . . your local city park, your neighborhood, your treadmill!

Runners register via RunSignup and can log their 5K run between April 27 and May 8. All runners will receive a t-shirt in the mail as part of their registration! Child participants will receive a medal, as well!  We are thrilled to bring together participants from around the world in support of the amazing Archbishop Borders School families.

Registration 

Early Bird Registration: March 1 - March 7, $25 per adult, $15 per child

Normal Registration: March 8-April 8, $30 per adult, $15 per child

Late Registration: April 9-17, $35 per adult, $20 per child

**If you live out of state and are going to need your swag bag mailed to you, please pay $5 extra for shipping. Thank you!

Awards:

All 5K participants will receive a Heart y Sol t-shirt and bag of race swag for participating in Heart y Sol!  Students will receive a medal, and adults will have a medal option.

HOW DOES A VIRTUAL RACE WORK?
If you’ve participated in a virtual race at any time you know the drill, but if not, it’s easy!

Sign Up to Participate
The first step is registering and making it official! Click register now at the top of this page to sign up for the individual race or all Adult or Youth options in the series. During registration, you can also opt-in to report your race results via text or email (we’ll explain more below).

Receive A Race T-Shirt
During the registration process, included in your packet will be giving away t-shirt we encourage you to wear while racing. We will provide more details soon about how we will get you your race t-shirt.

Print Your Digital Bib
We will be creating a "unique" race-themed Digital Bib that you will be able to download and print and/or share on social media. Keep an eye out for a pre-race email that will give instructions on how to access your "digital bib".

Run Your Race
You can run or walk your 5K (3.1 miles) anytime between April 27 and May 8. You can run anywhere you like - your neighborhood, your favorite trail, your treadmill, or your local city park.

Submit Results
After you run or walk your race you can submit results through text or email (if opted in during the registration process), or directly on the runsignup.com results page. If you have questions about submitting results don't hesitate to reach out to us. Results automatically update as times are submitted, so you can check the results to see how you stack up against the competition.

Send Us a Selfie/Share Your Pictures!
If you don’t take a picture did it even happen? We’d love to see your pre-and post-race pictures!
