About

I am a passionate advocate for brain health awareness and community-driven change across Maryland. My work is rooted in supporting initiatives like Maryland Go Gray in May, a movement dedicated to raising awareness about brain tumors, chronic headaches, and overall brain wellness.

In 2026, I am proud to support the advancement of Tahjai’s Law (House Bill 0825)—a Maryland legislative proposal inspired by Tahjai Renee Ward and championed through the advocacy of her mother, LaTasha Renee Ward. This bill represents a major step forward in prioritizing brain health across our state.

If passed, Tahjai’s Law will:
• Establish May as Brain Health and Chronic Headache Awareness Month, aligning with Go Gray in May efforts
• Create the Maryland Brain Health Grant Fund to support critical nonprofit services
• Expand access to brain health screenings and prevention resources
• Guide the development of statewide health protocols for early detection and care

Through advocacy, awareness campaigns, and community partnerships, I am committed to ensuring that Maryland families have access to the education, resources, and support they need. Together, we are working to turn awareness into action and build a healthier future—one mind at a time.
