Training For Turkey

Be ready to take on the Striders' Turkey Trot 10K Prediction Run on Thanksgiving Day! Registration is free, but you must be a member of the Howard County Striders to join. You should be able to run or run/walk a distance of two miles before beginning this program. This is a virtual program, with a coaching email and/or video dropping every Wednesday night, from September 30 to Thanksgiving Day Eve. We will set up a private Facebook group and arrange weekly Zoom meetings with the coaches, who will expand on the emails and answer any questions. The email will include suggested routes, with an optional "selfie spot" to share your progress with the group. These spots will be all over the Columbia area, and include a lot of unique items you may have never known about!
