Jen’s Story:

Jennifer Dant (Wassmer) was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April of 2022. Since her diagnosis, Jen has gone through several rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. At the young age of 32, she has recently been given the news that her cancer has progressed to stage 4 and is incurable. Jen resumed chemotherapy treatments shortly after Christmas in an attempt to shrink her tumor and help manage her severe daily pain associated with the tumor's compression on her sciatica and femoral nerves. Once this round of treatments is complete, she will receive another scan to see if her tumor is responding. If it’s not, Jen will be looking into alternative treatment options. A lot of these are not covered by insurance and can be very expensive. The mental, physical, and financial burden this disease has taken and continues to take on Jen & her husband Nate has been devastating. They deserve the opportunity to seek all possible options in continuing this battle, and we hope that you will help support their efforts!

Get to know Jen & Nate:

Jen is one of the most selfless, caring, and positive people you will ever meet. Her faith and gratitude towards life and others is unmatched. Even in her darkest days of fighting, she has an extraordinary sense of positivity that finds a way to shine through. We could all benefit from taking a step back, soaking in the little moments, and living life a little more like Jen. #LiveLikeJen

Nate has been an amazing husband, supporter, and caretaker through it all. He has worked tirelessly to independently support their family, but has also been forced to take time off to care for and support Jen in countless appointments. He is one of the hardest working people you will ever meet and he continues to be the rock for their family.

Jen & Nate got married on 9/2/2023. Their adventure is only beginning. Give them the opportunity to continue the adventure they deserve.

We can't thank you enough for any/all love and support!
