Description

Did you know: There are nearly 437,000 children in foster care in the United States. In 2018, nearly 690,000 children spent time in U.S. foster care. On average, children remain in state care for nearly two years and six percent of children in foster care have languished there for five or more years.

Please join us Cordelia Cranshaw ( Miss District of Columbia) & myself (La Tika Jeffery) as we raise awareness for the Foster Care Community May 11th- 16th. We will introduce ourselves, offer a LIVE Q& A session, Open Mic and offer family friendly activities just to name a few.

As former Foster Care youth we not only understand but also can relate to former and current youth.
