Race Against Hunger In Laurel, MD

Together this Thanksgiving we can #PreventHunger, #EndHomelessness, and #FosterHope. Since 2004, this Thanksgiving morning run/walk has become synonymous with turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce and helping others. Each year runners and walkers of all ages come out in the sun or rain, mild or cold, to support Laurel Advocacy & Referral Services, Inc. (LARS). The event raises money so we can help our neighbors fend off homelessness, combat food insecurity, and achieve stability and self-sufficiency.

Place

The race will begin on 8th street between Emancipation Community Park and Alice B. McCullough Field. Race morning packet pickup and registration will start at 7 am in the parking lot by the Sturgis Moore Pavilion. On-site registration is available for $65 and will close at 7:45 am for an on time 8 am start.
