Please join us for the fifth annual eRace the Stigma 5k and 1 mile run/walk! Our purpose is to raise mental health awareness, provide support and education to those in our community suffering from mental illness and/or addiction, and raise funds for families/individuals in crisis and/or local organizations who provide treatment. We have again partnered with the City of Salisbury to bring the Mental Health Expo, and will have many of our community partners on hand to provide information and support to those in need.
TIMELINE OF EVENTS:
***Friday, May 10, 2019 -
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - Packet Pickup for PREREGISTERED participants will take place at Hoppers, 1400 South Salisbury Blvd.
***Saturday, May 11, 2019 -
Parking: N. Division St. will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 6 a.m. FREE parking will be available in the City of Salisbury Parking Garage, or the parking lot across from the Library. Both are only one block away from the start/finish line.
All pre and post-race activities will take place in front of this building - 125 N. Division St. in Downtown Salisbury.
6:30 a.m. - Registration and packet pickup will take place on the steps of the Government Office Bldg in Downtown Salisbury, 125 N. Division Street
7:30 a.m. - Registration will CLOSE!
7:40 a.m. - Opening Ceremony with guest speakers, including Salisbury Mayor Jake Day, and final race instructions
8:00 a.m. - 5k race begins, followed by 1-mile walkers
8:45 a.m. - Community Conversation will take place on the steps of the Government Office Bldg with guest panelists to include mental health and addictions professionals
9:00 a.m. - Awards Ceremony - Awards will be given to the 1st overall male and female in the 5k, and 1st through 3rd place male and female in age groups of 10-year increments. We will also recognize all groups that registered as a Team, and present the winning Team with their prizes!
We have a new 5k course this year! It will be well-marked with spray paint and cones, and there will be plenty of volunteers along the way to guide you in the right direction!
We are again partnering with TCR Event Management for our timing, and the 5k will be chip timed. Awards will be given to the top male and female in the 5k, as well as top 3 in age groups of 10 year increments.

NEW THIS YEAR! Join a Team! If your organization or group would like to form a team, please contact the race director at firstname.lastname@example.org to have your organization added to our list of teams! There will be a prize awarded to the largest team!
Registration will include a shirt, pre-race coffee from Rise Up, water and snacks, post-race celebration with water and other goodies, and awards ceremony!
Awards will be given to First Overall Male and Female, as well as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in 10-year age group increments.
