Dash 4 Dignity 2023

The Dash 4 Dignity is working to put an end to modern-day slavery in our communities!  The Dash 4 Dignity 5K Run & 1K Freedom Walk at Heritage in Severn, MD is an annual charity event to raise awareness of human trafficking and exploitation in Maryland, DC, Virginia and Delaware. The 2023 Dash 4 Dignity will be a HYBRID event offering participants In-person and virtual event options.

Dash 4 Dignity events include: 5K Run/Walk, 1K Freedom Walk, & Community Awareness Resources.  Participants will learn about the ways to keep people, especially children and youth, safe as well as how to recognize and report signs of exploitation. Proceeds from this year's event will be donated to City of Refuge Baltimore, a local community-based organization in South Baltimore, Maryland.

DASH 2023 EVENT OPTIONS

• In-person 5K (MAP) and 1K on September 9th with on-site packet pickup and Pathway to Freedom community awareness Friday evening and Saturday morning at 8146 Quarterfield Road, Severn, MD 21144. Packet may be picked up Friday, September 8th or the morning of the Dash. In-Person Dash participants who prefer to have their packet mailed can add $5 to their registration. Packets will be mailed the week of August 28th.
  
  
• Virtual 5K and 1K participants may Dash between September 2nd and September 9th. Registration includes $5 shipping fee. Packets will be mailed the week of September 1st. Those who want to come to one of the on-site packet pickups may use coupon PICKUP to save on shipping. On-site packet pickups are scheduled for Friday, September 8th and Saturday, September 9th.
