2019 MSW Superhero Festival with 5K and Family Fun Run!

Join us on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our 4th annual Superhero Festival with 5K Race & Family Fun Run!  All participants receive a free superhero cape with their registration! (Capes guaranteed for registrations received prior to 4/12/19.) Come dressed as your favorite superhero and run/walk through the beautiful landscape of Carroll County or run/walk in our 1/2 mile Family Fun Run! 

When you register for the festival, you will receive a wristband which includes admission to all of the festival attractions such as face painting, balloon artistry by Wonder Woman, superhero caricatures, crafts, "super" hair design, and more! There will be two DJs, a Silent Auction, and Vendor Village.  Sandwiches, hot dogs, and baked goods will be available for purchase as will delicious fare from local food truck "It's All Good!". 

The 5K race will be officially chip-timed by Racine MultiSports.  There will be a customized award and prizes for top male and female race finishers in various age groups, medals, and post-race snacks.  In addition to a medal and prize for their age group, there will be a cash prize for the top three overall finishers:  $75 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place.  The 5K prize categories include top male in female age 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-65, and over 65.

The Fun Run course is a leisurely 1/2 mile long run or walk through our campus and all finishers receive a medal and small prize!

Other festival awards include best individual costume, best family costume, top three fundraisers, Fun Run first place male and female, and some random drawings too!

The Festival, 5K Race and Fun Run is open to Montessori School of Westminster families and the greater community.  All proceeds benefit the Montessori School of Westminster, a local, non-profit educational organization. 

Festival with 5K Registration Fees:  $30 per 5K runner through 4/19/2019.  From 4/20/19 through noon on 5/3/19, the 5K registration fee is $35.  Same-day registration (after noon on 5/3/19) is $40 per runner. Registration includes all festival activities.

Festival with Fun Run Registration Fees: $15. Be sure to register early! 

Please note that a registration and waiver is required for EACH participant.  (Children under age two as of the festival date are free but please complete a registration so that they receive a wristband and can participate in the festival attractions.) The event is RAIN OR SHINE!  See you on May 4th!  May the 4th be with you! ;-)
