Description
For seven years, Mary served as the Transportation Coordinator for Island Connections before her battle with cancer. This event is a tribute to her bright spirit and commitment to Island Connections' mission, Neighbors, and volunteers.
This race welcomes both runners and walkers, as well as furry companions on a leash.
All proceeds from this event directly support Island Connections, enhancing independence for older adults and people with disabilities on MDI and surrounding islands. Island Connections provides essential transportation and other vital services through dedication of our compassionate volunteers. As we mark over 25 years of neighbors helping neighbors, join us in celebrating community support and remembering Mary.
Check in will begin at 8:00 AM the morning of the race.

The Route
This year's race will debut a new course designed to showcase the beautiful ocean views of Bar Harbor. Participants will enjoy a scenic run or walk along the newly rebuilt section of the Shore Path, which follows the coastline, and take a loop around downtown Bar Harbor.
Thank you to the Bar Harbor Inn for allowing our participants to use the Shore Path!
