Description

We are excited to begin registration for one of the oldest "running" races in Aroostook County, the Caribou Labor Day Race, which serves as the 7th race in the Crown of Maine Race Series, thanks to the sponsorship of Powers Roofing & Sheetmetal

Date: Monday, September 7

Registration: Pre-Registered Bib pick up and day of registration in the Caribou Ski Building begins at 9:00am

Time: 11:15am (Start time depends on completion of Viking Kids run)

Cost: $15 RunSignUp price / Day of Race $20 (with no guarantee of shirt)

*100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Northern Skiers Club, the volunteer organization that maintains and grooms the Caribou ski trails for our community.  This year's race is raising money for a new snowmobile that will be used specifically to groom the trails, helping ensure safe, well-maintained skiing conditions for athletes, families, and recreational users throughout the winter.  By participating, you're not only supporting a great event—you're helping invest in the future of our local ski trail system.

Divisions: 10&under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70&over

Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 males and females in each division, and overall male and female winners

*There is no Walkers division, but if you choose to walk, you are allowed to start 30 minutes before the run if you wish to, and times will be adjusted.
