Join us for the 4th Annual Walk for Hospice on Saturday, September 19th, at the Caribou High School Track & Trails, proudly presented by this year’s Event Sponsor, Greenlaw Electric! Last year, your incredible generosity and dedication helped us raise $68,000 in support of the Aroostook House of Comfort! The mission of this exciting event is to raise funds for the Aroostook House of Comfort, promote community awareness, and celebrate the lives of those impacted by hospice. This year promises to be even more meaningful as we come together to walk, reflect, and celebrate with cherished family members, friends, and colleagues.

Our 2026 Event Sponsor

The Aroostook Hospice Foundation, owner of the Aroostook House of Comfort, is excited to announce the 4th Annual Walk for Hospice! We are grateful to our Event Sponsor, Greenlaw Electric, LLC, for their generous support in making this year's event possible!

"Greenlaw Electric is a small business located in Fort Fairfield, Maine. I believe it is very important for a successful business to give back to the community in which we live and help in any way we can. The Walk for Hospice is a great opportunity to do exactly that. The Aroostook House of Comfort is such an important part of our community and impacts so many families' lives when they need it most." - Michael Greenlaw, owner of Greenlaw Electric, LLC

Walk for Hospice Dedication

“We can't think of a better way to honor Dr. David Jones than to dedicate the Annual Hospice Walk in his memory. He provided dedicated, compassionate care to hospice patients in the county from 2005 until his death in October 2023 as the Hospice Medical Director. He provided medical care for hospice patients at home for several years and then at the Aroostook House of Comfort once it was built. He supported the hospice house wholeheartedly, believing it would make a huge difference in the comfort and care of our loved ones at the end of their lives when they are most vulnerable. He was and remains well-respected for his numerous contributions to health care, both by the local communities and statewide. He loved all aspects of nature and participated in the very first Walk for Hospice. We walk in his memory to honor his contributions to medicine and his legacy by supporting the Aroostook House of Comfort.” - Debbie Jones
