Description

Please join us for the Autumn and Ales 10k (formerly Mend the Gap 10k) presented by MEND Health & Wellness of Maine to benefit the Eastern Trail Alliance.

Mend Health is a sports chiropractic, family-run, family-friendly rehab clinic. Led by the husband and wife team of Drs. Tracey and Victor St John, they are dedicated to non-surgical management of Sports and Musculoskeletal injuries.

Each participant, age 21 and older, will have access to a Beer Garden sponsored by Nonesuch River Brewing, following the race. ID and race bib required. Guests of race participants (21 and older with ID) may purchase a bracelet to access the Beer Garden for $10.

Registration fees are $35 prior to the event, $40 on the day of the event. Online registration will close at 7:00 pm on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Participants will be able to avoid the crowds and pick up their race bib and T-shirt (if ordered before 9/1) ahead of the race on Saturday, September 21, between 2 and 5 PM at Nonesuch River Brewing, 201 Gorham Road, Scarborough.

Race day packet-pick up, check in and on-site registration will be at Maine Indoor Karting, 23 Washington Ave, Scarborough. Onsite registration and check-in is from 7:30 to 8:30 AM on Sunday, Sept. 22. Please plan to arrive for sign-in an hour before the race starts (9 am race start).

We encourage carpooling to alleviate parking congestion.

This is a tobacco-free, rain or shine, event. Strollers and dogs are not allowed. Registration fees cannot be refunded or transferred to a future event.

The route begins and ends at Maine Indoor Karting - out and back on the scenic, Scarborough Marsh off road section of the Eastern Trail in Scarborough. There will be a water stop midway and at the end.

Awards ceremony will be held at Maine Indoor Karting immediately following the race.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Eastern Trail Alliance, an organization dedicated to building a 65-mile transportation and recreation greenway from Kittery to South Portland. With 22 miles currently off road, our goal is to raise awareness and funds to continue the vision of the Eastern Trail’s founder, the late John Andrews, filling in the gaps and adding more miles to the off road trail sections.
