Icy Elf 5K

Santa Claus is coming to town and the elves will be working hard all day to get Waldoboro ready for his arrival. But it's bound to be cold, so we're organizing a 5K to get everyone's blood moving and warm before Santa shows up.

So join us for our 3rd annual festive run through town. We'll have hot chocolate and candy canes and Christmas lights and prizes (even one for the best dressed elf). Local businesses will be open late with hot drinks and snacks and things you can buy to finish off your Christmas shopping.

We'll have Christmas-themed age group prizes. Plus, an Elf at the finish line to congratulate you on your run. And so many more prizes and giveaways to announce as we get closer to race day. 

Registration is $20 in advance or $25 on race day. You can also register in advance at Long Winter Soap Co in the Village. 

Runners will get a performance beanie from BOCO Gear (est. retail value of ~$26) with their entry (while supplies last). 

Walkers are always welcome!

The Kid's Run is FREE and completely dependent on the weather. The 5K is not. We'll run unless the police won't let us. That's how we do things in Waldoboro. 

Monies raised go toward efforts to revitalize and promote the historic Waldoboro Village. 

If you skip this race, you'll end up on the naughty list.
