Description
THIS RACE IS ON HOLD AS THE KENT COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS REVIEWING OUR COVID SAFE PROCEDURES! STAY TUNED!
We've put together procedures to social distance at our 5k event for you the participant and all of our volunteers. When you register you will be able to pick your start time that will be in 15 min intervals from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Each event will be limited to 50 participants.This will allow ample social distancing at the start of the race, along the course, and at the finish line. The race is chipped timed with results and awards.

Rolling Start
Start times will be between 5 pm and 7 pm. with 50 runners every 15 min. There will be no crowded mass start. Keep an eye on the start line and begin your race when it is free of other participants. Masks for participants REQUIRED when at the start. Once you have started you can remove your mask when you run!
Packet Pick Up and Late Registraton
At Gazelle Sports Wednesday, August 12 from 4 till 7 and race day at the park starting at 4 pm. The packet pickup/check-in area will be spaced out to allow ample room for social distancing. All race volunteers will be wearing a mask and gloves. Masks for participants REQUIRED when picking up their packet.
Awards
Overall and age group medals will be available for pick up at Gazelle Sports starting at 10 am Saturday August 15th. Gift certificates will be awarded to Overall and Master (over 40) male and female. Top 3 places in each age group receive a medal. Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80
Staff and Volunteers
All staff and volunteers will wear face masks and gloves
Fluid Stations
We will provide boxed water at the finish of the race. There will be no fluid stations on the course. Bring your own water for the course.
Hand Sanitizer and Masks
Hand Sanitizer will be located in various areas near packet pickup. We will have some Masks available if you forgot yours.
