ChapTer 21 Buddy Walk Festival & 5K

A 5K run/walk race through neighborhoods south of Riverside Elementary Park in Battle Creek, MI.  All registrants will receive a t-shirt and Rock 'n' Roll guitar medal. Awards will be given to the following categories, male and female: Overall, 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & up. A professional chip timing system will be provided by Mac'c Sports Timing with ChronoTrack timing technology. 

There will also be a 1 mile advocacy and awareness walk and a large festival afterwards with food, drink, music, games, bounce houses, prizes, silent auction, 50/50, and more.  There will be a costume contest at the main stage at 9:30 AM.  This year's theme is Rock 'n' Roll.  Come dressed as your favorite rock star from any generation for a chance to win an award.  Proceeds benefit the local and national Down syndrome communities.
