Halloween Hound Dog Dash

It's officially October and it's time for The Hound Dog Run. This year our Hound Dog's can put on their costumes and get ready for the Halloween Hound Dog Dash. This is Hilton Elementary School's ONLY fundraiser for the 2023-2024 school year and we've combined it with our harvest festival to make it the ultimate fall event. Let's get ready to dash and bash!!

Fundraiser

Our Goal this year is to raise $25,000! This is a goal of $50 per child. We have chosen to use the same online platform as last year. All you need to do is register your student and create their personal fundraising page with a unique link. Share the link with family and friends. All donations due by October 20th. If we beat last years totals of $29,000 we will have a special surprise for the students.

**Back by popular demand** There is an additional option to have a loved one run with their hound dog for only $10! You can register right on the same page as your student. 

THEME

Halloween - costumes and all! If your student does not want to wear a costume, we will be providing class t-shirts that they are more than welcome to wear to the run. PLEASE REMEMBER: Costumes should be easy to move around in with no masks or weapons. Costumes should be family friendly and not too scary for our littlest of Hound Dogs!

This year's run will be followed by our Harvest Bash that includes: food trucks, trunk or treating, games, and a glow party!

Run Information

Check-in will start at 5:15 and will be followed by a Halloween warm-up at 5:40. At 5:50pm, we will send the runners out in waves by grade level to prevent congestion on the course. If they prefer, students are able to run with a sibling or a different group. 

Dogs will dash half way around the school and get to run through the school hallway on to the blacktop.

Tentative Schedule:

5:40- Warm up

5:50 JK and Kinder

5:55 First

6:00 Second

6:05 Third

6:10 Fourth

6:15 Last run
