Caledonia Halloween Hustle 5K and Fun Run

The Caledonia Halloween Hustle 5k race consists of a rolling hill course that begins at the Caledonia Community Green and runs North to Glengarry Drive and makes a left turn with a slight downhill to Costner Drive. Runners will then make a right turn and begin a gentle uphill slope following Costner/Alanada Drive. The course reaches the 1-mile point as it turns right onto the concrete path by the water tower off of Alanda Drive. Runners will continue to the left of the water tower with a slight downhill slope onto the concrete path leading to Kraft Meadows Middle School.  The course follows along the sidewalk and crosses into the bus parking area as it heads to the new traffic circle where runners will keep to the right and enter the drop-off loop. Runners will follow the loop and take a right turn onto the existing and new concrete path uphill to the Paul Henry Trail on the outbound side of the drop-off loop. The course will run along the trail reaching the 2-mile point and enter Caledonia Lakeside Park and following the trail through the park, past the library, and finally making a right turn on Dobber Winger Memorial Drive to the finish line.

The .5 mile Fun Run will start and stop at the Caledonia Community Green. Runners will start running north on DobberWenger and make a left towards the library. The course will take you around the dog park, past the pickleball courts, and back to the start/finish line.

Packet Pick-up for the Halloween Hustle 5k and Fun Run will be on Friday. October 25, 2024, at the KDL Caledonia Township Branch Library from 5 pm - 6 pm and on Saturday at the Caledonia Township Branch Library from 7:30 am - 9:30am. 5k Race will begin at 9:00 am the Fun Run will begin at 9:45 am.

Those who signed up before the Early Bird Deadline 10/8/24 will receive a race t-shirt. Those who signed up after the deadline are not guaranteed a shirt, but a few extras will be ordered so we will do the best we can.
