Nathan's Ninjas Family Fun Run 2025

NATHAN'S NINJAS 10TH ANNIVERSARY!!!  We have set the date - 7/20/25 and we are so excited to have you join us and hope we can add even more participants to help us celebrate! Thanks to YOU, in 2024, we were able to support Nathan with a lift to help him get downstairs and enjoy the comfort of the entire home.  With funds from the 2025 events, we hope to extend our support to other families and get back to supporting organizations like the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Team Impact - the organizations that hold camp and allowed Nathan to be part of the Wayne State basketball team. Thank you SO much for all that you do to help Nathan and boys like him as well as make an impact on our community - we are beyond grateful for your continued support!

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is typically diagnosed between the ages of 2 and 6 and primarily affects boys. In fact, 99 percent of the almost 20,000 new cases each year are boys, meaning 1 boy out of every 3,500 will be diagnosed. Duchenne is a progressive muscle wasting disease so as other boys are getting stronger, Nathan and others like him are getting weaker. 

Nathan updates? Wow - he's in 10th grade and continues to do super well adjusting and navigating to the 3 school campus!  He continues to support his Canton sports' teams like soccer, football, basketball and baseball and he recently earned a spot on the school's radio station 88.1 the Park!  We can't wait for him to learn all about the radio and hopefully hear him announcing games over the next couple years. Thank YOU again for your continued Nathan support and for always following his journey!  

For our 10th year, we will again gather at Heritage Park in Canton and also offer a virtual experience for those who'd like to take advantage.  We are so excited for the opportunity to make a difference in the fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy! Can't wait to see you there!!!
