We have been informed that we cannot use the location we were planing on for the race and are left with no alternative but to cancel the race.
A full refund will be given to all race registrations and donations.

Description
Join us on Saturday, July 25th in DeWitt for The Comeback Kid 5k. This race will feature an open/flexible start line from 8am to 10am, t-shirts, and age group awards!
How does the open/flexible start line work? Start the race any time between 8 am and 10 am. There will be no crowded mass start. Keep an eye on the start line and begin your race when it is free of other participants. No more than 5 people will start at a time. The start line will be wide, and the space is very open to allow for proper social distancing. You do not have to feel rushed to get to the starting line. Start your race when you are ready. Timing does not start until you cross the timing mats.
Entry Fee: $20 until 7/21, $25 from 7/22 to 7/24, and $30 race day. Special pricing for ages 18 and under $10 to 7/21, $15 from 7/22 to 7/24, $20 on race day. Entry fee includes t-shirt. (register by July 22 to be guaranteed at t-shirt)
Course: Accurate 5k Cross County course. Runners and walkers are welcome! We will provide bottled water at the finish of the race. There will be no fluid stations on the course. Bring your own water for the course.
Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site. Please remember your overall and age group place will not be final until the last person has crossed the finish line at approximately 11:00 am.
Age Group Awards: Playmakers Gift Certificate to top 3 in age group. First $15, Second $10, Third $5 . Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ Available at Playmakers after the event.
Safe Race Procedures: The packet pickup/check-in area will be spaced out to allow ample room for social distancing. All race volunteers will be wearing a mask. We encourage participants to wear a mask when picking up their packet. No crowded mass start. Packet-pickup is 7 am to 9:30 am.
Bring the Family!: Enter Mom and Dad and Child by 7/21 for only $50. You receive a T-shirt and accurate chipped timed 5k!
This race is being put on by the Michigan Running Foundation. All proceeds from the event support youth running throughout the state of Michigan.
