About Sprout Love
The Sprout Love Initiative at the Cancer Support Community raises funds for the Sprout Love Financial Assistance Fund launched in the Fall of 2018. The fund covers basic living expenses for individuals who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of cancer and its treatment.
Sprout Love was founded in memory of the vibrant spirit and energy of Maureen McCurren by a dedicated group of family members and friends. Maureen lived with amazing courage and grace during her seven-year battle with breast cancer and was an inspiration to all that knew her.

Join the National Honor Society of Dexter High School as they host the 6th Annual Summer 5K!
This student-led event is FREE to the public and aims to raise $10,000 for the Sprout Love Initiative of the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor. Participants can enjoy a 5K race (run, walk, roll, or stroll) and outdoor activities! We are expecting over 150 attendees for this event.
Although the Race registration is $25, the event itself is FREE!
*5K is a non-chipped fun run/walk.
For $25, early registrants will receive entry into the race, a race t-shirt, and a commemorative medal.
Race registration will be $30 starting May 17th.
Participants must register by May 3rd to be guaranteed a t-shirt in their size. Shirts will be distributed on event day at check-in.
