Join us on April 6th, 2025 at Michigan State University's campus for "Race for Humanity," a 5k event organized by SJP. This initiative is driven by our collective desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. The 5k is more than just a run; it is a symbol of solidarity and compassion. Our goal is simple: to support Palestinian refugees in their pursuit of a better life. We want to emphasize that this event is rooted in humanitarian principles, transcending political boundaries. It’s about coming together as a community to make a meaningful difference. Race for Humanity is an opportunity for individuals from all backgrounds to stand united by a common purpose. It’s a chance to demonstrate that, despite our differences, we can work toward a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Mark your calendars and lace up your running shoes for a day filled with purpose, unity, and a shared commitment to creating a positive impact. Race Details
DATE/TIME: April 6 At 10:00 am
Awards: The top 3 runners from each age group will receive a medal and a prize (more details coming soon)
Raffle: Every registration will qualify you to enter our Post Race Raffle (More Details Coming Soon); the Raffle will be announced at 11 pm at the start/finish line
Raffle and Awards can be picked up at the Rewards Table between 10:30 and 11:45 Am.

Date for Packet Pick Up: April 5th (time and date TBD)
Alternative Packet Pick Up: Race Day (April 6)
T-SHIRTS: All registrations on or before March 25th will receive a custom race t-shirt
Age Groups: Under 18, 19-39, 40-59, 60+
Results: All results will be found on runsignup.com
Virtual Run/Walk: If you can't make the race and still want to participate, sign up for the virtual race. You will run/walk on your own time at your own location. There are no awards for the virtual event. However, you can enter your results after you complete your run/walk. Results can be entered HERE (the link will be live closer to the race date).
Bazaar: Tables and bake sales will be present from 9 am to 3 pm on race day. You can learn about culture and try unique desserts.
