Thank you for your patience following our recent race cancellation due to flooding. We have worked closely with MSU Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF) and are excited to announce that our race has been rescheduled!
New Race Date: Sunday, April 13th
Location: Original race location - 888 Conrad Road East Lansing 48824

UPDATE 1: Dear Race Participants: (THURSDAY, April 3rd 2025)
We hope this message finds you well. We regret to inform you that Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF) at Michigan State University (MSU) has notified us of significant flooding in the race area. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming race to ensure the safety of all participants and volunteers.
At this time, we do not have an alternative date. We are working closely with IPF to explore rescheduling options with in the next 2 weeks, and we will keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available. You will be sent an email and updated information will be posted on this page.
We truly appreciate your understanding and patience, and we look forward to the possibility of hosting a safe and enjoyable event in the future.

All other details remain the same for the 13th (location, start time, etc)
Join us on April 6th 13th, 2025 at Michigan State University's campus for "Race for Humanity," a 5k event organized by SJP. This initiative is driven by our collective desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. The 5k is more than just a run; it is a symbol of solidarity and compassion. Our goal is simple: to support Palestinian refugees in their pursuit of a better life. We want to emphasize that this event is rooted in humanitarian principles, transcending political boundaries. It’s about coming together as a community to make a meaningful difference. Race for Humanity is an opportunity for individuals from all backgrounds to stand united by a common purpose. It’s a chance to demonstrate that, despite our differences, we can work toward a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Mark your calendars and lace up your running shoes for a day filled with purpose, unity, and a shared commitment to creating a positive impact. We look forward to seeing you at the Race for Humanity on April 6th 13th, 2025, at Michigan State University's campus!
Race Details
DATE/TIME: April 6 13th At 10:00 am
Awards: The top 3 runners from each age group will receive a medal and a prize (more details coming soon)
Raffle: Every registration will qualify you to enter our Post Race Raffle (More Details Coming Soon); the Raffle will be announced at 11 pm at the start/finish line
Raffle and Awards can be picked up at the Rewards Table between 10:30 and 11:45 Am.
Packet Pick Up: 8:45 AM the morning of the race at the race location Conrad Hall, 888 Conrad Rd, East Lansing
T-SHIRTS: All registrations on or before March 25th will receive a custom race t-shirt
Age Groups: Under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and above
Results: All results will be found on this website and will be live during the event.
Virtual Run/Walk: If you can't make the race and still want to participate, sign up for the virtual race. You will run/walk on your own time at your own location. There are no awards for the virtual event. However, you can enter your results after you complete your run/walk. Results can be entered HERE
Bazaar: Tables and bake sales will be present from 9 am to 3 pm on race day. You can learn about culture and try unique desserts.
