Tamarac Turkey Trot

RACE UPDATE:  RACE REGISTRATION CLOSED

• Tamarac Turkey Trot is celebrating 15 years!
• Please register for the Race by October 15 to guarantee race sweatshirt and shirt size.  
• Note: NO Race Day Registration in 2025
• Kids 11 and under can register to race for free in Kids 5K & Kids 1.5 mile (with no shirt provided). An option for a kids' shirt purchase is provided when registering by October 15 in the Kids 5K & 1.5 Mile races.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day as Tamarac continues the Turkey Trot tradition in Fremont, Michigan!   This event is fun for the whole family! 

All 5K, 10K, 1.5 Mile participants are chipped timed. All 10K will start at 8 am.  All 5K will start at 8:05 am. 5K Walkers are asked to start at the back of the line behind the runners. 1.5-mile walk/run start immediately following the 5K runners.

Awards

• All participants will receive a finisher gift upon crossing the finish line.
• 10K and 5K: Overall awards, masters’ awards, and 1st in age group for 10K and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd for 5K and Kids 5K
• Age Group:
  • 10K; 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 +
  • 5K; 12-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
  • NEW THIS YEAR:
    • Kids 5K; 5 -7. 8-9. 10-11
