Description
This year, one in five adults will experience a mental illness—that’s over 40 million people in the U.S. alone—but with early intervention, we can reduce the devastating effects. That's the mission and the reason for the Hope Network One in Five Marathon Relay, Community Walk, 6.2-Mile Individual Race, and 6.2-Mile Accessibility Race.
Proceeds from the event will fund early intervention programming along with Hope Network services for those currently battling mental illness.
MARATHON RELAY:
At the One in Five Marathon Relay, teams of five will complete a full marathon. The first four runners will each complete a 5-mile loop, and the last will represent the one in five by taking on a more challenging 6.2-mile route.
COMMUNITY WALK:
The simple act of walking can end the stigma, change our community, and save lives. Join us for the Community Walk as we take steps toward that reality.
6.2-MILE INDIVIDUAL RACE:
Can't get a team together? Run as an individual on this year's 6.2-mile Course.
6.2-MILE ACCESSIBILITY RACE:
New this year, wheelchair and handcycle athletes are invited to participate and register for the 6.2-mile course.
