2017 Running for Recovery 5k

Join us for a great 5K run filled with fun spirit stations and lots of laughs. This event is perfect for the whole family! 

The Lakeshore Clubhouse is a program of Community Mental Health of Ottawa County that serves persons living with mental illness.  We are passionate about getting the message out that recovery is possible – albeit a long road!  Statistics are devastating for this population – particularly the fact that on average, persons living with mental illness die 25 years earlier than other Americans, largely due to treatable medical conditions.  We want to be a part of the solution!  At Lakeshore Clubhouse we take physical wellness seriously and encourage our members to be active through a number of opportunities presented to them at the Clubhouse.  Through Running for Recovery we are looking to engage with our community to spread our message of hope and recovery as well as provide an opportunity for people to get MOVING!
