Description
Amid the winter's chill in Ottawa County, a heartwarming tradition comes to life - the "Walk for Warmth" fundraiser. This local walk traversing two miles through beautiful, downtown Holland unites participants in a collective effort to provide warmth, comfort, and hope to those facing the harsh realities of winter. The annual event raises money to keep the heat on for qualifying families in Ottawa County who have received a utility shut-off notice for gas, electric, water or deliverable fuels like propane and fuel oil. 100% of the funds raised assist Ottawa County residents. The fiduciary of the Walk for Warmth funds, Ottawa County Community Action Agency, distributes the funds to financially-qualifying residents in need.
To help us prepare for the event, please register each participant that is over the age of 5.
Wear your glow gear and join us for a night of fun that will include walking, a bonfire, food trucks, prizes, warm hearts and more!
If you would like to order a shirt with this year's t-shirt design to go with the glow walk theme, you can order them on our Bonfire.com page. *These shirts typically take 3 weeks to arrive so order soon!* www.bonfire.com/walk-for-warmth-1
