Description
Race BIBS and Metals! This is a street 5k. Family friendly, you can walk/jog/run or crawl! We will offer a refuel station at the half way where you can take a short break for a drink and a snack. Our refuel station is sponsored by The Kal Ho Lounge. We are Kalkaska Township Fire Department (FireTeam 7 Auxillary)! In partnership with Las Vegas Tan & Salon, we are sponsoring this event to raise funds for things such as ice rescue equipment, water rescue equipment, snowmobile rescue, wildland rescue (ATV) - all of which are on display here at our station! We use these funds to support our community by purchasing smoke detectors and providing them for free to those in our response area and other small equipment that makes our jobs easier!
T-shirts quantities are limited to the first 40 registrants. We do not offer a size small. *sizes are limited* Race bibs and metals will be given to each participant!
UPDATE: We are out of size MEDIUM t-shirts!
Following the 5k, you are welcome to join us for our memorial picnic. We have a DJ, bounce houses for the kids, face painting, 50/50 raffle, silent auction and a delicious meal prepared by our own guys and gals!
The cost of the event is $25.00, which includes a meal ticket. All participants will receive a race metal and bib!
