Description
Michigan Trail Experience is happy to announce the 2nd night race/hike of the season. Nighthawk 5 is a 5mile night trail run around the north side of Sleepy Hollow State Park. A headlamp or flashlight is required. This course will start and finish in the equestrian staging area. This will be a new course for past Michigan Trail Experience racers. The trail will be well marked with both reflective flags and regular flags. This event will be chip timed. Some areas may be muddy and wet. More information on the course to come. All entries will receive a North Face canvas bag, finisher patch, and Michigan Trail Experience sticker. This is a pet friendly event. Results: Your accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on this site.
Awards: Overall finishers male and female will receive free entry into a future race of the Michigan Trail Adventure. First places in each age group will be given discounted entry into the next upcoming race in 2023. Age groups for women and men are the following: 15 and under, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over

Parking at Sleepy Hollow
Enter on Price Rd parking is available at the equestrian staging area. Follow the signs to parking area. A Recreation Passport is required to enter the park.
Packet pick-up
Packet pick-up will be begin at June 10 8:00pm at the equestrian staging area.
