It's a Juneteenth Celebration!
Join the Lansing Juneteenth Celebration Committee and "Run Tha City 517" presents the third annual Lansing, Michigan Juneteenth 5k run/walk/roll!
Register today to run/walk or roll (strollers and wheel chairs) the race will start at J.W. Sexton High school and take you through the scenic route of Westside Neighborhood. You can create a team with friends, coworkers or family and complete 3.1 mile route together as a community.
Location: The start line will be in the football stadium parking lot of J.W. Sexton High School and the 5k will finish on J.W. Sexton track. Course: The 5k course will take you through the scenic Westside Neighborhood.
Pricing & T-shirt guarantee dates: $30 until March 31st (t-shirt guaranteed)
$35 from April 1st until June 5th (t-shirt guaranteed)
$40 June 6th to June 14th (t-shirt size not guaranteed)
$45 on race day (t-shirt not guaranteed)

Start Time: 8:30 am
Packet pick up: Packet pickup will be June 13th 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saint Joseph Park 2125 W .Hillsdale St. Lansing, MI 48915 and race day June 15th starting at 7:00 am on J.W. Sexton track until start time of the 5k. During your packet pickup you will receive your race t-shirt and your bib number.
Awards: Playmakers $5 Gift Certificate to the top finisher in age groups: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over
Proceeds & Donations from the race go to support the Juneteenth annual 5k run/walk/roll every year and Lansing Area Track Club a local track club in the city of Lansing.
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live and posted on this website following the event.

Team Information
Gather your friends and let the fun begin! You can create a team with friends, coworkers or family and complete 3.1 mile route together as a community.
You will be asked during registration if you would like to Join or Create a team. If yes, follow the steps.
Team Pricing - If registering a team, you must register 4 or more people before registration closes to qualify for the team discount of $5 per person. The discount will automatically be refunded when you have at least four people join your team. Team members 1-3 will receive a $5 refund once member 4 joins. Member 4+ will automatically pay $5 less. Join in the fun!
