Description
The Michigan Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Monument will celebrate and honor the lives of fallen law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. The Memorial will honor their courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to preserving our safety and, ultimately, our way of life. The 2nd annual 5k walk/run to help raise funding to go toward building and maintaining a memorial to commemorate fallen law enforcement officers in the state of Michigan.
The memorial monument is located at the corner of Allegan Street and Butler Boulevard, directly south of the Vietnam Memorial, near the State Capitol building in Lansing.
Race day registration is at 1:00 PM Race is at 2:00 PM
Group/Family pricing: Register 3 or more people at the same time and receive $3 off per person.

Trophy to Overall male and overall female winner.
The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.

Governor's Council Endorsement & Michigan Fitness Foundation Challenge
This race is endorsed by The Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and part of the 2019 Michigan Fitness Foundation Challenge. The challenge encourages Michiganders to engage with events that promote physical activity, health and wellness.
