Description
This is a family-friendly event that combines paddling on the Shiawassee River with pedaling on the LAFF Pathway. THIS IS NOT A RACE! The LAFF Paddle and Pedal will offer a chance to exercise your upper body with kayaking or canoe and your lower body by pedaling on Phase 1 of the LAFF Pathway.
You will have an opportunity over the 3 day weekend (June 4 - June 6th) to complete the recommended route. The event is scheduled from 10 am to 4 pm each day. You pick the day you want to participate from June 4 - 6th. Packet pick-up will be located near Sunshine Kayak Rental at 304 Tickner St, Linden, MI. Each registrant will receive an official LAFF Paddle & Pedal 2021 hat. THIS EVENT IS BEING CAPPED AT 100 PARTICIPANTS SO YOU WILL WANT TO REGISTER TODAY!
The paddling route will have you go east up the Shiawassee to Tupper or Ponemah Lake and then back. The pedaling route will take you from downtown Linden, South on Broad Street - West on Stan Eaton - South on Hyatt which turns into Byram Lake Rd to Silver Lake Rd where you will connect to the LAFF Pathway. Then continue to Lobdell Road and then back following the same route. Signs will guide you for this out and back.

Your participation will help build Phase 2 of the pathway that will link Linden and Fenton's cities through Fenton Township along Silver Lake Rd!
