Description
THE DIRTY MITTEN IS PROUD TO BE THE 2024 USAT GRAVEL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ALONG WITH BEING THE GRAVEL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE UNIVERSE (yeah, we made that last one up, but the event is so good we are sticking with it)!
Based out of Camp Manitou-lin in Middleville, MI, The Dirty Mitten offers a beginner friendly sprint option (The Shorty), a more challenging Olympic distance that will serve as the National Championship for both Tri and Du (The Long One), and one of, if not the, most difficult half distance event in the country (The Half Crazy).
13 EVENTS TO CHOOSE FROM: 4 events at each distance: The Shorty (sprintish), The Long One (olympicish), and The Half Crazy (halfish) all featuring triathlon, aquabike, duathlon and relay... plus you can join us virtually!

Other Tris4Health Events
We are more than just triathlons.
While we started with Grand Rapids Triathlon and Michigan Titanium, we have since expanded into gravel cycling, road cycling, trail running, and road running while not forgetting our tri roots. We also produce three gravel bike events: Waterloo G+G, The Dirty Mitten Gravel Bike Race, & Rode To Hell along with the state's largest road bike event, Grand Rapids Gran Fondo.
