Central Michigan Mayhem/Speedway 5K

This is a fun run/walk 5K. Runners will wear bibs, but this is a non-chip timed event. There will be a large start/finish clock for runners to see their finishing times. The first 75 finishers will receive a medal and get a free ticket ($10 value) to the 7:00pm Central Michigan Mayhem Roller Derby bout in MtPleasant, Michigan.Participants will begin the 5K on the MtPleasant Speedway race track, run an out-and-back course, and finish back in the winners circle on the speedway track. Finishers will be greeted by the Central Michigan Mayhem Roller Derby Team and have the opportunity to take photos with the skaters. Local race car drivers and cars will also be in the winners circle for finishers to take photos with. Cost of the event is $15. A portion of the entry fee will be donated to a local charity.
