Run OHS 5k

Race Location & Parking 

Thank you for signing up for the RunOHS 5k walk/run sponsored by Eagle Alloy! The race will start and finish at Oakridge High School. We will be starting/ending the race in the west parking lot of the high school. The best place to park will be in the south lot behind the school, closest to the football stadium. If you are unsure of where that parking lot is, put 275 S. Wolf Lake Rd, Muskegon, MI 49442 into a GPS and that will bring you to the correct parking lot. 

Bib/Chip Pickup 

We will have bib and chip pickup available starting at 7:15 am on Saturday. We will be located near the start line. You will get a bib as well as a chip for the timing system. We ask that you place the bib on the front of your person and that the chip goes on your left hip. The chips we are using are reusable. We will have a bucket for you to deposit your chip at the end of the finish area. If you registered June 26 or prior we will have a race t-shirt for you. We have a limited number of shirts that will be available on a first come first serve basis. 

Route & Active Roadways 

The route for the race will take place in the neighborhood to the north of the high school. The route will be marked with signs to indicate all turns. Please keep in mind that all roadways will be active during the race. Please be aware of where you are running and obey all traffic laws. 

Results 

We won’t have live results but with our new chip timing system times will be posted on the race website shortly after the last person finishes the race. We will have awards for the top 3 finishers in each gender. We will hand those out as close to people finishing as possible.
