Do you blast through trail with speed but then have trouble when attempting things more slowly? Do you want to be safer and have more fun on your bike? These clinics are what you need to get your season off to a great start. Learn and practice the foundational skills of mountain biking that will allow you to roll through your favorite trail with more ease. Improve balance and confidence on your bike to keep those wheels rolling, then progress to the next level under the supervision of Coaches Mitch Bray, Lisa Flores-Johnson, and Kate McLean!

Adv. Beginner/Intermediate Clinic - October 14, Lakeshore Park (Tree Farm), Novi, MI

Helmet and bike required.  Clinic will have skills in the morning, a break for you to eat whatever lunch/snacks you bring, and then session the trail.  We will have extra water on hand.

If you have never taken a bike clinic before, it's highly recommended that you take the Beginners Clinic also.

Brief review of foundational skills from clinic 1 (warm-up), introduce and progress intermediate skills

For this second clinic we will progress skills learned in clinic 1. Riders will have the opportunity to work on skills at their own level and then progress to more challenging terrain when ready. We will introduce higher speed cornering, steeper rolls downs and step-ups, challenging obstacles like rock gardens and log rolls, steeper climbs and descents.
