Welcome to the 3rd annual Hippity Hop 5K! This is the largest fundraiser for the Child Benefit Fund. The Child Benefit Fund is a nonprofit organization primarily dedicated to meeting the needs of at-risk youth and families working with the family division of the Ingham County Circuit Court. Funds are used to buy clothing, pay sports fees, camp costs, emergency needs, and holiday gifts for approximately 250-300 children per year.
5K Run/Walk: The 5K is chip-timed on an accurate course. All participants will receive a finisher's medal and t-shirt. There are also awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group.
Egg Race: There will be over 1,000 candy and toy-filled eggs for children 12 and under. The egg races will be divided into three different age categories, and each child is guaranteed a minimum amount of eggs. It is designed as more of a traditional Easter Egg Hunt and a fun run and the distances will vary by age group. Each child will receive a t-shirt and the eggs. See if you can find the golden eggs for a special prize!
The event is family and kid-friendly. There will be a DJ, an inflatable bounce house, and we are excited to have Home Depot employees doing a craft with the kids! Of course, the Easter Bunny will be there for pictures and for a meet and greet.
Family pricing: Have other friends or family wishing to participate? Register with 3 or more people and receive a discount of $3 per registrant.
Packet Pickup: Saturday, April 13th at Playmakers from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM
Race Day Registration and packet pickup: Sunday, April 14th starting at 9:00 AM
