Description
Join us for a day of Fun, Family, and Freedom! We start early to beat the heat with our 3rd Annual Freedom 5K Run/Walk. For those of you looking for a new challenge or more distance, we have added a 10K course this year! Both races are chip timed by Michigan Running Foundation. As always, we will have a FREE 1/2 mile Kids Race. All kids that finish the race will receive a medal and a sno cone. We believe that hard work deserves to be rewarded! Overall Winners will receive gift certificates for running gear and awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age bracket. We will have homemade cookies and Biggby Iced Coffee for your enjoyment. Don't forget the Puppet Show and Bounce House for anyone who wants to stay and play! This race is known for being one of the most fun and well organized races in the area. ALL proceeds go to Crisis Aid International to rescue girls from human trafficking and restore their lives.
