Description
The American 5k is just what it sounds like. It is a race that has a sense of pride to it. Wear your Red, White, and Blue gear on out the day of the race to show your love of this country. The race will start at SVSU Med Express, it will be a paved route. It is a 5k run on campus that starts/finish at the Covenant MedExpress on the corner of Pierce and Bay Rd. The course will be a flat down and back course, with water at the half way point, and then water and fruit at the end.
Half of the money raised will go to a Non-profit veteran charity called 22KILL, it works to raise awareness to the suicide epidemic

Shirts will be available till July 16th after that shirts not guaranteed.Everyone will receive a finisher medal that will show your pride for the USA.
